Styling Boyfriend Jeans: Casual
For the longest time I kept looking through Pinterest, and style blogs, amazed at how effortlessly chic all these women looked in boyfriend jeans. For awhile I was under the false impression that it worked for them because they were tall and skinny, and that these kind of jeans would not look good on a curvier body frame, but I was SO WRONG. This summer, I finally found a pair that I love, and I can't stop wearing them. So over the next few weeks, be on the look out for ways to style your boyfriend jeans, without looking like a shapeless boy.
My first boyfriend jeans style look is a more casual look. Paired with a brightly printed tee - that is more fitted, gives you some body shape in the top. I like to pair my boyfriend jeans' outfits with chunky necklaces to give a more feminine appeal to the look as well. Typically, I like to wear wedges or heels with my boyfriend jeans to elongate your legs in a straighter/looser fit jean, but I really liked these ballet flats and since their nude they can easily blend in with the outfit.
There's a couple DIY posts coming from this outfit as well. Be on the lookout for a how-to on my color-blocking tote, and color-blocking bracelet!
