DIY: Plaid Fleece Ear Warmer

This headband has been the perfect fall accessory for me. I love pops of red, especially during the fall when my wardrobe tends to consist or darker or neutral colors. And it really sticks out among the beautiful fall scenery. Early morning walks, or late night rides on my moped - is an easy cute way to keep the noggin warm.

Supplies:
1/4 yd. of Fleece
Matching Thread

Yup. That's it.

Directions:
1. Cut two rectangles in fleece of 4.5" by 18" and one rectangle 1" by 2"
2. Sew two pieces together wrong sides together, leaving the ends open to create a "tube"
3. Turn inside out, connecting the "tube" into a continuous circle and pin.
4. Sew around edges with 5/8" seam allowance, so now you have the "band" of the head band.
5. Cinch together one side of the headband with your smaller rectangle.
6. Place on ears for added warmth.

Yup. That's it.
