Crunching Leaves and Pumpkin Bread: Favorite Fall Days

Rejoice always,
pray continually,
 give thanks in all circumstances;
 for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
 1 Thess. 5: 16-18
     If my house could be at the end of this path, I would be the happiest girl in the world!
I think Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year - and though we may gripe and groan about colder weather, lack of sunshine, or more rain, there are these perfect days. Days where red leaves make the perfect crunch beneath your boots,  a cool gust of air touches your cheeks making them deliciously pink and invigorating, a hot cup of coffee's aroma soothes your soul, and your head is buried beneath your favorite knit scarf.
 These are days where it acceptable to staying in to make pumpkin bread while wearing your coziest sweat pants, and watching beloved movies like the Princess Bride.

While you're staying in today, try making your favorite recipe for pumpkin bread. I like to cheat and use the Trader Joe's mix (only because it is so so so delicious!) But then I create my own glaze to pour on top of piping hot bread, made of powdered sugar, melted butter, and vanilla.
